I am talking about cricket world cup 2011 . As far as this World Cup was (and is) in our home ground it was our hope Bangladesh would do great . Bangladesh also did great in some match – the fight against India was awesome , the win over England was also a good one . They also did some very bad performance also but the appreciate their comeback . After all the criticism they got after that match was horrible . I don’t think any other team got the nerve to survive that but Bangladesh did !
After the loosing of West-indies it was the target to win remaining two match for Bangladesh to secure second round . Todays match was against south Africa . Alas we were not in mode (!) today – and now we are crying for what we have lost.
No problem ! It is not the end of Cricket World Cup at all – it will come again and again . As a young team we did really well . I hope one day the cup of three stamps and ball will be ours . We will be the champion one day . After all we Bangladeshis never lose hope . Good luck Bangladesh ~ Just try to play well – we are with you always .
