Some people have question how to add those “share button” like Facebook , Twitter in wordpress.com. Actually it is very easy and wordpress.com just provide it out of an account.
Here what you should do –
- First of all log-in to your wordpress.com and open the Dashboard. From settings go to sharing option
- There you will get an option option pane named “Sharing” .You should have two separate area there – Available services and Enabled services. From Available Services “Drag” the names to Available services area. Yap! it is added . You can see a live demo how it will look like . If you want to enclose other services in a share button you have to drag them in the box called “Services dragged here will be hidden behind a share button.”
- Here is my setting . I have set it to show “Facebook” , “Twitter” And Others under a “share” button.

Argh, I followed the instructions. However, the share buttons dont show up on my minimalist themed blog. Is that because of the theme?

The share buttons appear in the individual posts, but not in the main blog newsfeed. Any ideas for how to get them in the main blog newsfeed?

It is possible to add them in feed, using theme customization. But I am afraid you will need premium account to get facility.
